Acoufelt - Filasorb Acoustic Panels
Acoufelt FilaSorb™ acoustic panels achieve a Noise Reduction Coefficient (‘NRC’) result up to 1.0 and are available in a variety of full colorways and QuietPrint™ printed designs.
Depending on the acoustic requirements of the space, acoustic panels can be applied to cover an entire wall or ceiling, or as a standalone feature, with both standard and custom dimensions available. Acoufelt acoustic panels are comprised of FilaSorb™, contributing to both the acoustic performance of the panel, as well as the smooth surface finish.
Acoufelt FilaSorb™ acoustic panels are also made from recycled post-consumer plastic. Every square metre of panel contains regenerated fibres made from approximately 135 x 600ml. bottles.
With more than 60% recycled content, Acoufelt’s acoustic panels exceed the criteria set by USGBC (United States Green Building Council) recognising the contribution to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).
Therefore, users of Acoufelt products can earn environmental points from LEED for their building projects. Acoufelt’s commitment toward environmental sustainability is also reflected in its manufacturing methods meeting ISO 14001, its consistent use of reclaimed materials in the product design process, and ensuring products are 100% recyclable at the end of their useful life.
