It has been designed to offer architects, designers and specifiers a “one-stop-shop” for the information that might be required to assess a building product or material for specification into a building project. BPI Rating provides information on the Environmental, Social, Economic, Resilience, Compliance, Performance of building products and materials as well as collating reviews and ratings. The concept is developed through an innovation process incorporating industry engagement to ascertain industry needs. The process has resulted in a specification for BPI Rating, which has been industry end user driven. BPI Rating is brought to you by the Insurance Council of Australia, Edge Environment and Comply Flow to help building professionals and homeowners find, evaluate and compare building products.
Q: How can I trust the information provided for each company and product is accurate?
A: The information currently in BPI Rating has been added by an independent research team, summarising information which is publicly available. As product manufacturers provide their own information, we will mark which information has been verified by BPI Rating.
Q: How do I get a product into BPI Rating’s database? A: There is an option to sign up and register as a manufacturer or distributor or simply email subscription@BPIRating.com.au . Your profile and company will be verified and you will be provided access to add and edit your product and company information. If your product or company is already presented in BPI Rating, please contact subscription@BPIRating.com.au to arrange for taking over the company and product account.
